Liftonic is a strength training app for iPhone. This page explains what it stores and where your data goes.

What Liftonic stores

This data is kept on Liftonic's own server so it syncs between your devices.

Apple Health

With your permission, Liftonic reads workouts, body weight and daily activity totals from Apple Health, and saves the workouts you log in Liftonic back to it. Health data is used only to show your training in the app and to give the Coach context. That means data from Apple Health, such as your workouts, body weight and activity totals, is part of what the Coach sends to the AI provider described below. Liftonic never uses Health data for advertising and never sells it.

The AI Coach

The app asks your permission once before anything is sent. If you say no, the Coach stays off until you allow it in Coach settings, where you can also turn it off again.

When you use the Coach, your message and the training context it needs (recent workouts, schedule, profile notes) are sent to an AI model provider to write the reply: Anthropic, or, when Anthropic isn't available, OpenRouter, which routes the request to another model provider. Liftonic only lets OpenRouter use providers that don't store or train on your data. Only what the reply needs is sent. Each handles it under its own terms: see Anthropic's and OpenRouter's privacy policies.

What Liftonic doesn't do

Deleting your data

You can delete your account any time in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. That permanently removes your profile, workouts, routines, body weight, Coach conversations and photos, and the Apple Health data Liftonic stored on its server. Workouts Liftonic already saved to Apple Health stay in Apple Health, where you can delete them.
